Sausage & Tomato Pasta
We just had some last night and it was super yummy. I even took a picture of what i made as proof. Here is the recipe:
1 lb. Penne pasta
1 1/2 c. broccoli florets
3 TBSP Olive Oil
4 links hot or sweet turkey sausage
1/2 tsp salt
1 can diced tomatoes
***We added a sprinkle of parmesean on top but you dont have to.***
--Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to your package directions. Add in the broccoli for the last three mins. of cooking. Drain in a colander
--In a nonstick skillet over medium heat warm 1 TBSP of olive oil. Add sausage and cook turning often 10-12 mins. Transfer sausage to cutting board and cut 1/2 in. thick pieces.
--Return to pasta and broccoli to cooking pot, add sausage, remaining olive oil, salt, tomato's and toss together and serve!!! Yummy!!!! Makes plenty for leftovers as well too.

Coupon glory!
Ever since my Sister In Law got me involved in couponing its been so great saving all that money. My hubby is relieved at the savings and enjoys going to the store with me. So in order for me to continue i feel like others should be able to take part in the savings as well. So i promise i will try to keep this more updated as I go.
