Sausage & Tomato Pasta

We just had some last night and it was super yummy. I even took a picture of what i made as proof. Here is the recipe:

1 lb. Penne pasta

1 1/2 c. broccoli florets

3 TBSP Olive Oil

4 links hot or sweet turkey sausage

1/2 tsp salt

1 can diced tomatoes

***We added a sprinkle of parmesean on top but you dont have to.***

--Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to your package directions. Add in the broccoli for the last three mins. of cooking. Drain in a colander

--In a nonstick skillet over medium heat warm 1 TBSP of olive oil. Add sausage and cook turning often 10-12 mins. Transfer sausage to cutting board and cut 1/2 in. thick pieces.

--Return to pasta and broccoli to cooking pot, add sausage, remaining olive oil, salt, tomato's and toss together and serve!!! Yummy!!!! Makes plenty for leftovers as well too.
